This training is designed to assist with troubleshooting Dell PowerConnect network switches. It is not
meant to be a comprehensive course encompassing all the facets of Dell switches, but instead, an
overview of the Dell switch product line.
At the end of the is training, you will be able to:
o Identify the basic PowerConnect switch families.
o Identify which are managed and unmanaged switches.
o Identify the general steps of installing a switch
o Identify a completely defective switch.
o Identify issues as indicated by a switch’s LEDs.
o Perform basic troubleshooting.
o Describe the process for switch replacement.
